2. Visit the Official DV Lottery Portal

This is the only legitimate website for checking your status, so avoid third-party sites.
3. Click on ‘Continue’
Once you are on the portal page, you will see a button that says “Continue”. Click on it to proceed to the next step.
4. Enter Your Entrant Information
On the next page, you will be prompted to enter:
- Confirmation Number (this was provided to you when you registered for the lottery)
- Last/Family Name
- Year of Birth
5. Complete the Security Verification
To protect your privacy and ensure that the process is secure, you will be asked to enter characters shown in a picture or CAPTCHA. This is to verify that you’re not a robot.
