The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has announced new job opportunities for qualified Kenyan professionals, inviting applications from bachelor’s degree holders across various fields.
In a statement on its official website, the bank urged interested candidates to register and apply through its recruitment portal and to submit their academic and professional certificates before the application deadline of Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
“Interested and qualified individuals are invited to apply through the CBK careers portal before the stated deadline,” read part of the announcement.

The Central Bank is seeking to fill several business analyst roles in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management.
1. Cyber Risk Analyst (Business Analyst)
Responsibilities:

Conduct and coordinate cyber threat hunting to proactively detect and prevent breaches in the banking sector.
Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cybersecurity environment.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications & Information Engineering, or Computer Science.

Professional certifications such as CEH, GSEC, or CCNA.
-
Practical experience with enterprise VA/PT tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, OpenVAS, or Nikto.

Active membership in a recognized professional body.
2. Digital Forensics Analyst (Senior Business Analyst)
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive digital forensic investigations and incident response following cybersecurity breaches.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Digital Forensics.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital forensics, threat hunting, or incident response.

Recognized professional cybersecurity certifications.
3. Senior Business Analyst, Monitoring and Compliance
Responsibilities:

Use continuous auditing and analytics to identify non-compliant transactions and analyze operational trends.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit or compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
4. Risk and Compliance Analyst

Support the bank’s risk and compliance operations, coordinating with related units to ensure regulatory adherence.
