Current Consultancy Opportunities:
SNV is currently looking for consultants to assist with advocacy coaching on policy for Economic Stakeholder Organizations (ESOs), Business Member Organizations (BMOs), and county governments. The positions are based in Kisumu, Uasin Gishu, and Nakuru.
1. Advocacy Coaching on Policy for ESOs, BMOs, and County Governments in Kisumu
Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
Experience: Relevant experience required
Location: Kisumu
Field: Consultancy, Project Management
Scope of Work:
- Facilitate workshops for validation and prioritization of policy areas.
- Draft policies and regulations for Kisumu County and ensure alignment with national frameworks.
- Establish data collection and monitoring frameworks, focusing on gender mainstreaming.
- Provide training to stakeholders on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) techniques.
Deliverables:
- Validation reports and stakeholder engagement outcomes.
- Draft policies and regulations for review.
- Monitoring frameworks and gender mainstreaming training materials.
- A 2-page article on the impact of the interventions.
2. Advocacy Coaching on Policy for ESOs, BMOs, and County Governments in Uasin Gishu
Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
Experience: Relevant experience required
Location: Uasin Gishu
Field: Consultancy, Project Management
Scope of Work: Similar responsibilities to the Kisumu role, including policy validation, drafting regulations, and conducting gender mainstreaming training.
Deliverables:
- Validation workshops and policy drafting.
- Monitoring frameworks and gender-sensitive policies.
- Advocacy training materials.
3. Advocacy Coaching on Policy for ESOs, BMOs, and County Governments in Nakuru
Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
Experience: Relevant experience required
Location: Nakuru
Field: Consultancy, Project Management
Scope of Work: This role follows the same structure and responsibilities as the others, including validation of policy areas, drafting of county-specific policies, and gender mainstreaming training.
Deliverables:
- Engagement with stakeholders to validate findings.
- Draft policies and regulations.
- Advocacy training materials and M&E frameworks.
Qualifications for All Positions:
- Technical Proposal: A comprehensive proposal explaining the consultant’s approach and methodology for executing the work.
- CVs: Detailed CVs of the consultant(s) and team members with relevant experience.
